How to secure your Teamviewer (Simple Tutorial)

Teamviewer is a great program, it's pretty much the standard for businesses, clients, and for helping that occasional technologically challenged person with their computer. Unfortunately, the developers of Teamviewer have enabled some sketchy functions by default, namely disabling remote mouse and keyboard, transferring files (without consent), controlling the printer, etc. Rather than being opt-in, these features are now opt-out. Right now, if you have not altered Teamviewer in any way, somebody can connect, (provided you give them details) disable your mouse and keyboard, black your screen, and do all sorts of heinous, sketchy stuff to your computer. Fortunately, they do provide a way to disable or limit these functions, and that's what this tutorial will show.

Open Teamviewer. (It can be downloaded HERE if you do not have it yet.) 

It should display like this: 

Navigate to "Extras" at the top, then to "Options". 

Next, navigate to the "Advanced" tab then to "Show Advanced Options", click it: 

Scroll down to "Advanced Settings for connections to this computer", in the Drop Box, it should be set to "Full Control", set it instead to "Custom Settings", and then click "Configure". 

Set your settings to your taste. My own settings can be found in this image: 

After you have done that, click "OK", then "OK" once more. Congratulations, you have successfully secured your Teamviewer. Enjoy the reduced risk of somebody screwing you over...!

Salam If your internet is slower than usual, then you should check if someone has hacked in your WIFI .In this post I’m going to show you two effective way to check this.



The easiest way is by using free utility called Wireless Network Watcher v1.55 .

1) Go to nirsoft.net and download Wireless Network Watcher v1.55.

2) Install it on your pc and start scanning. It scans your wireless network and displays the list of all computers and devices that are currently connected to your network.

For every computer or device that is connected to your network, the following information is displayed: IP address, MAC address, the company that manufactured the network card, and optionally the computer name.

If you want to check if someone has hacked in your WIFI without installing any software then you should log in your router . If anyone is connected to your network it will be shown in your router security settings. You can log into your router, usually http://192.168.1.1 . You can check your router ip address using command prompt

1) Run command prompt (cmd)

2)type ipconfig and press enter

ipconfig will list your ip , MAC and default gateway address. You can access to your router settings by

 typing default gateway address in your web browser.

4)Log in your router and look at the Home Network -> Devices, this shows all IP addresses connected to your network.

How To Protect Pc From usb virus (autorun.in)

Mostly viruses come to PC through Internet, Pen-drive and Floppy (It Not Used Nowdays). And we are using CD’s to transfer data between computers but CD’s not allowed to write virus file. Pen-drive is not like this, we can format it many times and we can save different data again and again. This ability helps the virus to attack the PC again and again :p . So Here are some Tricks to protect PC from virus.


We can protect the Pen-drive from viruses by doing the Following Method.




Creating Fake autorun.inf file :


1) Create a "New Folder" in the Pen-drive
2)  Rename it as autorun.inf
3)  Then, as shown in the image check on “Read only & Hidden” :

4) Then click on OK. Now this folder will get hidden inside this pendrive. We did this because mostly virus comes to pen drive as “autorun.inf”. Already the Pen-drive has a folder named as autorun.inf (read only, hidden). So “autorun.inf” cannot enter into pen drive because already Pen-drive has fake “autorun.inf”.

We can use the above mention trick in our own Pen-drive, but in any situation if we have to use our friend’s Pen-drive in our PC, so let’s see in that situation, 

How to protect PC against viruses When Using Friend's Pendrive?

1) Press “Shift Key” before connecting the Pen-drive to the PC. By doing this, if that Pen-drive contains a virus, it will not allow to Start automatically through autorun.

2) After this you can see a Green color Arrow icon/mark in the right side of the Task bar. This is shown that the Pen-drive has connected to PC successfully . After that

3) Press Windows key + E

A wild  window will appear :p

In that window select the Pen-drive and open it. (Open it by Clicking “Right Click” --> “Open”. Do notDouble Click it).

Its A best practise to scan the Pen-drive with your Antivirus before open it.

4) If that pendrive consist virus file....

Press Windows Key + R 

Type cmd

Then Click on OK

Now Command prompt will appear

Now type your Drive letter ( example K: )

Then type ATTRIB -H -R -S AUTORUN.INF 

Again type EDIT AUTORUN.INF

A new window will appear. 

In that window 

File --> Save as then Exit.

Again Press Windows Key + R

Type cmd 

Command prompt window will appear.

In that window type

ATTRIB +H +R +S AUTORUN.INF --> EXIT

So Here Was a Short Trick To Protect Your PC from Viruses of USB/CD/or any portable device , autorun.inf is a best example and common also , well Its not my trick obviousely , but its a new Trick to
